Subject: net.music flame

I, for one, am getting *very* fed up with all the anti-KB stuff on
net.music. Honestly, I don't think that there have been that many
postings by her fans lately...however, people like Todd Jones and
others have been using Kate as the butt of their stupid attempts at
humor. Therefore, it looks as if Kate really does dominate the net.
Why don't these people just post articles about the music that inte-
rests them, instead of making fun of Kate?

Also, I don't much care for this trend of people writing in and
saying something to the effect of, "Well, I just heard such-and-such
by Kate Bush, and I don't see what the big deal is." We've sure had
a lot of *that* lately. Yeah, why don't people write in every time
they hear something they don't care for? I mean, in the past few
weeks, I've been less than impressed by the new John Foxx album
(sigh), 10,000 Maniacs, Alan Vega (any relation to Suzanne?), X,
Simple Minds, etc. Still, I don't feel compelled to post to net.music.
I guess it's just become "cool" to put down Kate Bush.

There, I feel better now.
