Backward vocals on "Watching You without Me"

I've tried listening to this part by moving the turntable backwards,
and my conclusion is that it's a passage sung in a foreign tongue
and played backwards.  The only word I can spell out is something like
"nonkinos nonkinos".  A wild guess: could this be the greek ritual music ??
