** Flame ** I've heard enough of this demonic sound mumbo jumbo. Every time someone tries to use their voice for something more than just reading off lyrics someone somewhere thinks it must be the devil's work. The real demonic sound is the sound of carbon-copy bands working together (whether consciously or unconsciously) to stifle the creativity of honest musicians so that many end up a little less fortunate than KB on the song charts-- having to give up music for some other more comercially-palatable drivel such as playing advertising jingles or whatever. Stifling creativity in the interest of conformity. I'm not interested in criticizing anybody's wife here. I just find it irritating that creative music so often tends to be viewed as magical/demonic. I end this well-intentioned flame with a quote from Chris Cutler (Henry Cow's drummer) : "To control the market means to control 'taste' and this is not so difficult. It's done through advertising; driving their product into the Air, onto the telly, the music press, supermarkets, airports, etc. ad NAUSEUM, and by stifling anything they don't own. When they do own something good it invariably goes bad - then it sells even better". Watch out KB!! The Inquisition is here... again. end-of-flame Sami
