Hi guys. I've just heard Cohen's album "The future". It's incredible.
honest! What's the link with Kate? Have you ever heard the song
"Teacher", still by Cohen? It's one of the most beautiful things i've
ever put on my turntable. (I've got a very old vynil version of the
"Songs of Leonard Cohen" album.) But I really doubt any of you will
be able to find out what it is all about, except that at the time
(1969), Cohen was used to drugs and alcohol. And I don't give a damn
about the real significance of the lyrics. Same for Kate: I've got my
own idea of the meaning of the words, but I don't wanna fight for it.
So keep cool, please. As far as I'm concerned, I've never thought
that Cloudbusting was obviously a song about homosexuality, and I'm
sure you know how personnal our interpretation of the lyrics are,
don't you? Bye for now.
Eric
P.S.Moreover, Kate would certainly be really surprised how far from
the truth, where ever it is, we can be. Funny, isn't it?
