Not sure if you already know this, but both Heather Nova and
Happy Rhodes are currently working on their respective new
albums (ok, Happy is doing some live dates with Project Lo 
right now). 
Heather Nova has signed to V2 (new company of Virgin founder 
Richard Branson), and Happy Rhodes is, AFAIK, still in 
negotiations.
