umm.. minor point: in all the interviews 
i've seen or read about their work together, 
they've said that IS how they work.  Bernie 
writes the lyrics first.  That is how 
many songwriting teams work.  It keeps 
the words from being chained to the 
meter of the instrumentation and 
elton likes the challenge.
