Extract from my local newspaper:
...... another London band, Sub  - formerly 
Valley Of The Dolls -  an all-girl four-piece, 
described by Melody Maker as a *dirty, growly, 
distorted slice of weirdness, topped by a 
perfect Kate Bush vocal*.  They (Sub) have 
supported Salad, Skunk Anansie and China Drum 
and are rapidly building a reputation as
a *noisy grrrl band*......
