Tori and Kate Bush are nothing alike, Kate has a pop, 80-obsessed style while Tori bridges into an alternative gap of poetry and brilliant music. The lyrics of the two could not be more opposite and the many instruments that Kate overdubs with does not come close to comparing Tori's beautiful solo piano work. Tori has true musicianship and class. -Winter p.s. I am a fan of Kate Bush as well but resent the too often comparison when Tori does exceed your "average" singer/songwriter. Peace :) -------------------------------------------------------------------- "pop, 80-obsessed..."? Oh, well. Of course rec.music.folk is the same forum that recently had a thread on "Harry Belefonte, the true father of folk music". Neal Mulvenna
