It belongs to a group of six demos recorded with a full band. The other five songs (Moving, Don't Push..., Kite, L'Amour... and Strange Phenomena) all showed up in their final studio version on The Kick Inside. Maybe she planned (at least at that time) to release Scares Me Silly on her first album too. Maybe there's even a final studio version of it? It's also unusually catchy, and the lyrics are directly based on personal experience: a song about recording a song. ciao, Rolf
