Skating to Kate..... Rosalyn Sumners (former world champion) has used "This Woman's Work" as music for an exhibition program. Me, I'll be using "Moving" for a program this season - does that count? ;) The problem with *competing* to Katemusic is that with very few exceptions music has to be instrumental....vocals are only allowed if they do not carry the melody (e.g. using "Tequila" is OK because the shouts of "tequila" aren't the centre of the piece). If someone could do some creative editing of the instrumental versions of Running Up That Hill or The Sensual World, those would be great pieces to skate to. A previous query some time ago asked about good places to get Kate stuff in Vancouver. I hope this response isn't too late to help whoever asked, but one very good source is Collectors RPM (which just moved, so I don't have their new address). Kate is one of the artists that they keep a box for, and it's full of weird and wonderful stuff (interview disks, posters, etc.) However, I have found that their prices are a little high in comparison to, e.g., what's on sale in GOLDMINE or DISCOVERIES. Cheers, Fiona
