I totally agree with your statement that all Kate albums are completely
essential (except, obviously, The Whole Stroy) - let's face it, someone
who takes their time putting out an album roughly every five years had
better release good albums! - but for people asking such a question I
would order them:     The Red Shoes, Hounds of Love, Sensual World, Never
for Ever, Lionheart, The Dreaming - merely as I find them the most
accessible in that order to non-great Kate fans.  That's probably the
order I choose to play them when "other" friends come around - if they let
me!

Otherwise, I'm just writing to say I have only just got onto the internet
and this newsgroup but have loved Kates work for donkey's years.
