I always thought that the line quoted by benjamin j doherty
from "Jig of Life" as:
"for now does ride in on the curl of the wave,"
was
"for now does life end on the curl of the wave,"
If this were the "choice between life and death" part of TNW, then I would
guess that the male voice would be letting the protagonist know just exactly
what the odds were.
