my "volley" consisted of pointing out that the page used frames without
having anything useful in the <noframes> tag and indicating which file
to use so that non-frames browser users wouldn't have to bother digging
through the html to find it.

granted, i don't like frames and don't plan on using them for anything
i write, but i don't think i should be i should be granted demigod
status by equating my meager and pointless comments with those of the
great and powerful stev0. ;)

really, len, i don't grasp a single argument you offer in defense of
burkhard. writing web sites for the greater glory of KaTe does not
excuse poor style. it's clear, as you say, that the author is under no
obligation to change his website just because some of us find it
lacking, but your condemnation of our "bashing" is perplexing.
