Hi,

I always thought that "pull of the bush" was some sort of mystical reference.
I must have heard somewhere (arthurian legends, maybe?) of spirits (or 
demons, or whatever...) being trapped inside a specific type of thorny 
bush ( don't ask me which either, because I can't remember...)
