Hi.  This doesn't regard Kate, but there's been so much MENSA discussion,
that for one quick post, I'd like to inquire about it.  Then I'll put Kate #1
on my mind again...

My 23 year old sister is quite intelligent.  She's one of the most gifted
people I've ever known!  She has been tested and her I.Q. points are way
above that required to be a member of MENSA.  However, when I mentioned MENSA
to her, she wasn't aware of it.  What does being a card-carrying member of
MENSA mean to the "average" super-intelligent person?  Can it get a person
ahead in life?  Will being a member help pull my sister out of poverty? Or is
it simply a position of prestige?  How can I find out more information on
MENSA to pass along to my sister?  If you have any answers, please e-mail me
