Hi guys - Count me as a vote for "Columbia", it's pretty clearly a tape of an actual shuttle launch. It's not hard to get audio of shuttle launches and NASA doesn't object to their use in this way - they like the publicity. Rush used actual shuttle launch audio prior to this on the song "Countdown" from Signals (1982, if memory serves). It sounds VERY similar although some specifics are slightly different. With the audio being so easy to obtain, and Kate's penchant for using "audio stock footage", it's got to be a tape. Why spend a lot of time duplicating something you can easily get (unless you're looking to justify 4 years between albums)? L8R - John
