You're completely right, VanceMan, IED's memory misled 
him again.

By the way, IED also mixed up the transcription method
of the string parts of "Hounds of Love" (Jonathan Williams's
cellos), which Kate notated herself, with that for the 
sextet's arrangement on "Cloudbusting", about which Del
wrote, in KBCN 17 (December 1985, p. 6): "The score was written out from
Kate's original Fairlight part and follows it almost exactly except for some
small bits which, although right musically, do not sound right played on the
real instrument."  Which explains where IED was remembering 
that procedure as one with which we knew Kate was familiar.
