Hello Friends, We have at last heard the new Kate track "Mna Na h'Eireann". Very lovely, very interesting. Kate sings against a backdrop of strings and Irish harp. The melody is curiosly enough to my ears very similar to the main theme of the recent "Wuthering Heights" film. Kate bravely tackles the Gaelic pronunciation, but as I suspect she doesn't understand what she is singing in theway she would if she were singing in a language she understood, there is a curious detachment. The bad news is that the album "Common Ground" has been put back to September of this year. Oh well! Isn't this where we came in.
