This is a copy of the message I've been sending to the people that expressed
an interest in the setting up of a Laurie Anderson mailing list.  I have not
had chance yet to read any of the follow ups that may have been posted
to ecto as I haven't read ecto at all for the last three days due to
something bad happening to the address where I receive ecto, the consequence
was that I got three days worth of ecto, love-hounds, rdt, undertow and
personal mail in the space of about 5 mins when the network was mended so I
haven't quite caught up yet.

Sorry for the impersonal mass post but this is just to let all interested
parties know that the Laurie Anderson mailing list is now running :)

Please be aware that this is a new list so if things don't run quite smoothly
at first then don't flame me, I'll sort it out.

To subscribe to the list then please e-mail:

	majordomo@starfleet.zynet.co.uk

With "subscribe laurie" in the message body, without the quotes of course.

For help mail:

	majordomo@starfleet.zynet.co.uk

With "help" in the body, again w/o the quotes.  For information on the
Laurie list include "info laurie" in the body.

To stop majordomo processing commands, usefull if your mailer adds a .sig
then use the command "end".

Any problems then mail me at either of the addresses below.
