Spam

Hi all -
    Count me in with Meth and Aaron as a vote for controlled access.

This group seems to be getting spammed a lot more than the other USENET 
groups I read.  Not sure why, but it is incredibly annoying.  One of the 
digests this past weekend had like, 3 BIG spams and one short message that 
was actually worth reading in it.  Mine don't get truncated, but it just 
sucks paging through page after page of crap.  I don't think it's going 
to go away anytime soon, especially after seeing the Win 95 spams.

How is this crap getting into gaffa anyway?  I thought direct access to the
newsgroup was already blocked.
