Thus the phrase "We let the weirdness in" is heard simply by playing the track normally. Months of KBC confusion (along with entertainment for the Bush camp) were engendered by fans' futile and audio-mirage-inducing attempts to discern a coherent message in the phrase when listened to backwards (it sounds a little like "They said they were buried here," though many variants, all equally meaningless and irrelevant, were posited over time).
