Isn't it ironic to have to worry about hate mail on a group named 
LoveHounds?  :)

I would agree that telling someone where to find the FAQ would suffice;
however, most new people don't know to read the FAQ before posting
ANYTHING to a newsgroup, just to let one know a little about the group.
