Well, the good part of that approach is that the simple turn-around
time reduces the chances of the 1-800-HOT-BEAR / $5,000 / MAGAZINES
AT HUGE DISCOUNT spamming.  The administration is likely to have
kicked the perps off for their spamming of other groups before they
get a chance to spam this what-ever-it-is.

There are a few bad aspects to it.  One thing is that, no matter how
polite one is, this approach makes the group seem exclusionary.  I
think that there are many people who would be intimidated, simply
because they're so altogether new to the Internet, &c. (I'd like to
see the percentage of gentle souls around here go up!)

          It's always Dark.  Light only hides the Darkness.
