Well, the good part of that approach is that the simple turn-around time reduces the chances of the 1-800-HOT-BEAR / $5,000 / MAGAZINES AT HUGE DISCOUNT spamming. The administration is likely to have kicked the perps off for their spamming of other groups before they get a chance to spam this what-ever-it-is. There are a few bad aspects to it. One thing is that, no matter how polite one is, this approach makes the group seem exclusionary. I think that there are many people who would be intimidated, simply because they're so altogether new to the Internet, &c. (I'd like to see the percentage of gentle souls around here go up!) It's always Dark. Light only hides the Darkness. Daniel Kian Mc Kiernan (619) 535 - 0546 athanatos@UCSD.edu 132.239.147.2 <75013,676>
