RE: Another New England Katemas party (western Mass)

Help! I missed the Katemas parties last year. (It was my year of awakening.) 
This year this is one near me (thanks Cindy!) and I might not be able to go!

My DW and I will be travelling that day. In fact, we will be passing close 
by Belchertown around Katemas party time. So far, this sounds great. We 
could stop in and eat and listen to Kate and watch videos, then run off 
before it's time to clean up.

The problem? My DW agrees with the reviewer who said that Kate's voice can 
shatter glass at fifty paces. I don't think that I am going to be able to 
convince her to visit. (It's too late to trick her into going by saying it's 
a Warren Zevon party, she already knows about it.)

Now I might miss Katemas again! <sigh> Maybe I'll just have to celebrate 
with my own quiet little Katemas (with headphones and Ben & Jerry's).

Okay, so there's nothing much anyone can do about my problem, I just thought 
I'd try to get a little sympathy. (And, no, Kate isn't more important than 
my DW, so I can't just leave her.)

(DW = dear (or darling) wife said with sincerity)

P.S. - The other bummer is that I won't get to thank Cindy in person for 
being the gracious angel who made me my Love Hounds Collection! (Thanks 
again!)
