Hello, A little question about who's who. In "There Goes Another Tenner" (off The Dreaming), the last lines are: There goes a ten shilling note, remember them, That's when we used to vote for him. "da da da" (ignore the "da da da" that's a piano) Anyone know who "him" is supposed to be? Since the 10/- note was withdrawn from UK currency 3 years before decimalisation (Feb 15th 1971, who remembers that - I do, with such jingles as "sixpence is two and a half new pence"), ie in 1968, I would guess that maybe she is referring to one of Harold Wilson or Edward Heath? Bryan Dongray PS This was brought more to my mind since Harold Wilson has apparently died recently, interestingly someone brought to my attention a speech from 1964 that if unions and management continued in their old ways and Britain didn't grasp the white heat of the new technology, the future was grim.
