I don't know if this has been mentioned before (How many times can people ask "Is this Mary by any chance Mary Steenburgen?")... There is a Didjeridu home page on the Web, with history, myth, playing guide, etc.: http://www.nd.edu/~sborman/didjeridu/ I have just glanced at some of the contents. I admit the thing emits a pleasant drone, but I wouldn't have thought it worth all this fuss. I wonder if there's a home page for conch shell players..... On a related note: I finally got a chance to listen to TD, the CD, last week, and the "didj" between TD and "Nice to Swallow" was head-shaking! (Wierd, though, how the CD player says that what I thought was the intro to NotS is actually the END of TD. I don't understand.) "The UnderToad, having croaked, re-submerges..." -- P.
