Hi -

This should be in the FAQ for EVERY newsgroup and mailing list
on the 'net:

What should you do about an inappropriate ad (or a semi-appropriate
ad posted 3 times?)  For one thing, do NOT mention it in the mailing
list/newsgroup.  Chances are whoever sent it doesn't even READ the
list/group.

Do *NOT* mailbomb whoever sent it.  Flaming is acceptable, but only
for relieving frustration.  Chances are whoever sent it will never see
your flame.

*DO* send an email to postmaster@(whatever site it was posted from).
For example, if foo@bar.edu sent a MAKE.MONEY.FAST posting, send a POLITE
letter to postmaster@bar.edu.  IT'S IMPORTANT THAT IT'S POLITE or it
will be deleted and disregarded.  However, *DO* include a copy of the
original posting, WITH as much of the header as possible.
