Let me try this again; my newsreader goes wonky and I wind up posting
nothing but sigs.
I just received "The Line the Cross and the Curve" and was pleasantly
surprised, considering the bad things I'd heard about it here and
elsewhere. I thought the direction was superb and had a nice Lynch /
Gilliam feel about it, particularly the Lily scene and the bit about the
giant fan (absurd!). My question is: has anyone out there seen this in a
thatre? Did it hold up as well? I think perhpas its better suited to
video format which would account for the unpleasant reviews.
Thanks,
