i've put the first parts of _the garden_ onto the web. this includes
the preface, the introduction and the chronology. you can access them
at http://remus.rutgers.edu/~woj/garden/. i'll be adding more pieces
as i finish them. hopefully i'll finish before ied issues a revision
to this tome. ;)

check it out if you can. i'd appreciate any comments or suggestions.
