Kate the actress

I for one would like to disagree with the postings I've noticed here
disparaging Kate's acting in TLTC&TC.  I direct lots of theater, and
I found her performance delightful.  I think the biggest insult I
could offer would be that she definitely chose a more theatrical,
as opposed to filmic, acting style, but then look at the material and
her background.  So maybe I wouldn't cast her in "LONG DAY'S JOURNEY
INTO NIGHT", but I'll bet she'd be fabulous in "MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM"!
