While we seem to be on the subject of the mule noises in GOOMH...

One of the coolest things in my opinion about the noises is that
the first sounds more like a human scream of pain, while the ones
that follow sound increasingly mule-like. (I'm referring to the
ones sung by Kate) I think provides an interesting image of the
transformation (sort of like audio morphing), as most references
that deal with magic and shape-changing spells (ie. my AD&D manuals)
mention a certain amount of pain that accompanies the trasformation.

Just an observation of mine..
