Just so you all know...I've received enough hostility to convince me to 
unsubscribe.  I've never seen so much pettiness or so little 
understanding.  I don't need those clogging up my screen or my brain.  
I've been through hell and back, esp. at the hands of would-be Kate 
authorities (who shall here go nameless--count yourselves lucky!)  I'm a 
sincere fan who happens to have opinions (however worthless some may 
deem  them!) that don't seem to go over well with many people.  I've been 
a fan since 1986--not as long as SOME of you, I realize, but long enough 
to deserve a LITTLE respect as I know a good deal about what I'm speaking 
of, whether anyone realizes it or not.  

Right now I'm sitting here with cold hands and a weary heart.  I thought 
I'd find like-minded friends, and instead I seem to have stepped into a 
hornet's nest.  I'm very sorry if I've upset or hurt anyone (BELIEVE ME, 
it wasn't intentional!)  This will have to be my last post, regrettably.

Kate, if you're reading this by any chance, please understand that 
whatever I have done, it was out of love for your music and you.  That is 
NEVER going to change.  I can only hope I've done you justice and not 
upset you.  If I have, please accept my humblest apologies.  I don't want 
you to feel that this fan is nuts (I'm not; I'm just a little out of the 
ordinary, like you!)  

I'll withdraw now and leave you all to think.  As I have, and am now 
doing, and will continue to do.
