Please can we drop this whole thing?  

It's my fault for thinking this was a joke and responding with my usual 
sarcastic humor.  So maybe it wasn't a joke but it isn't worth fighting 
over and certainly isn't worth anymore of any of our life energy (hey, we 
can say things like than in California.)

Believe me, from the bottom of my heart, life is too too short and too 
easily taken away from us to spend one minute of it remembering past 
flame wars on Love Hounds with he-whose-name-has-become-unmentionable 
(yes, J---!)
