Who the heck is Lily?

I've been trying to skip all this stuff on Tarot as much as
possible (although I have one suggestion:  Have any of you
believers read Tim Powers' novel THE LAST CALL?  A great work
of fantasy which is about the archetypes involved in the
Tarot.  Frankly, I think fiction is where it all belongs).
My question is this:  Who is Lily?  After listening to the
song, I assumed it was just another of Kate's fictitious
characters, like the robber in THERE GOES A TENNER or
something.  Is this a real person?  What's the deal?
