IED's pre-cursor (Andrew Marvick) was just 20 in December 1977 when he first heard "Wuthering Heights" over Radio Luxembourg while living in Florence during his junior year abroad. The reception was terrible, the radio a tinny portable mono-speaker job, but it was enough to completely screw up his whole life for good. The performance with Pete Townsend on guitar was indeed "The Wedding List" from the Prince's Trust Gala Concert (1982). Other musicians in the band were Phil Collins, Mick Karn, Gary Brooker and Midge Ure. -- Andrew Marvick (IED)
