As an infrequent reader of this group, I missed the start of the Lovich
thread, so apologies if this has been posted before.

Lene Lovich sings on Peter Hammill's 1991 CD "The Fall of the House of
Usher", an opera based on the Poe short story. Lene plays Madeleine,
Roderick Usher's mad, tragic daughter and the ultimate catalyst for the 
Fall. Her voice is as powerful and unsual as ever (rather fittingly, for a
guest singer on a Hammill album :-).
