so, there's this group from bristol england called PORTISHEAD and they are
all the rage right now.  i got a promo of the album and it would probably
definitely appeal to many love-hounds readers.

* deeply personal and emotional songs about heavy topics.
* female singer who sounds like a weird mix of tori amos, janis joplin and
edith piaf.

the music is pretty cool - stark, incredibly slow and drugged out hip hop
beats with john barry/ennio morricone style music on top.  weird and
compelling.  there's even a theremin on the first track!

oh yeah - the music guy does the interviews but doesn't do pictures and the
singer does pictures but doesn't do interviews.

if anyone has any questions for them i'm supposedly interviewing them in a
bit.
