For those of you who are interested in the issue of copyright laws and how they apply to the internet, there's an interesting article in the Wall Street Journal, 10/10/94, p. B6 on this topic. Their conclusions are 1) it's a mess, 2) no-one knows what part of what laws apply, for instance it could be interpreted that copyrighted lyrics are "on display" since they are not being sold, 3) no-one knows what to do or how the heck to do it. The Internet is too big and complex to be monitored for breaches of copyright. Karen kln@crl.com
