Friday 30th September

Arrived in the fair city of Bath, having spent a few days cruising
the Kennet and Avon canal in a narrow boat. Strolling down the
street, happened upon a largish branch of HMV records. Spent a few
minutes unsuccessfully looking for Sarah McLachlan albums. Was
about to leave the shop (totally forgetting my promise to buy a
Kate album the next time I visited a record store), when I looked
up and saw a picture of Kate staring at me from the shelves, just
begging to be bought. Handed over my hard earned cash (well
actually it wasn't hard earned and it was a credit card), and
walked out again, a happier person. What did I buy, I hear you
ask? "The Whole Story 1993" LaserDisc. Now I've just got to
persuade my nephew to return my LD player that he borrowed, so I
can actually watch it!
