Bummer, it's scary to think that this sort of negative fan obsession could
spring from listening to Sarah McLachlan's music. I wonder if Ms McLachlan
is regretting that she ever wrote Possessions.

Is there anything we can do to lend some emotional support to Ms. McLachlan?
Perhaps sending some encouraging fan mail. This sort of thing makes me sad,
and a bit angry that there are people out there who are so drawn into the
music that they drag the artist down with them.
