TO ALL CITIZENS OF THE EARTH - PRESENT TO THE 200 th ANNIVERSARY!

For you to know - that there were the times when nobody (from here)
looked for better life in America!

200 years ago in the steppe near the Black Sea, not far from the turkish
fortress (occupied by russians) appear the streets with special names:
Italian, Judish, French, Polish, Moscow, Greek, Armenian et cetera, und andere,...

In the passage yards between such streets there were the mixture of
architectural stiles, dialects and accents, philosophies and the ways of life,
and even now Odessa man are not surprised when in Ukrainian family
the son is born with greek profile, italian temperament and judish
talant.

Such histories are connected with the names of outstanding persons :
the poet Anna Achmatova, musicians David Oystrach and Emil Gilels,
writer Isaak Babel, olympic champion Oxana Bayul,
idologist of the state Israel Vladimir Szhabotinsky,
story-writer Korney Chukovsky,
forefathers of Stiven Spilberg, Jo Dassen, Silvestre Stallone and many others.

May be you do not know about them but you will !!!

In the worse times Odessa sitizens were well known because of their
specific humour. Now there are not very merry times in Ukraine
(and all ex-SU) but here is THE HOLIDAY so we'll forget the troubles.

And we wish you to do the same things!
