]observation that I had met few female Kate fans.  Once again, I do live in
]a small town with little decent culture.  Now, if I wanted to be interested
]in NASCAR racing, I'd have a better luck. :)

 Same here.  If Australia is the ass end of the world (quoting our Prime 
Minister),
 then I spent most of my wild youth in one of the more remote pimples 
(Hobart).
 I remember having a drunken singing(?) session in a pub in Hobart with some
 Glaswegians, and they said the only reason they came to Hobart was that it 
was
 the furthest town from anywhere on Earth.  They didn't have to tell me 
that.
 It's good to hear there are women out there who like Kate's music - I 
hadn't
 met (read?) any until now.  If by branching out you mean getting out and 
meeting
 more women, I'm afraid my wife wouldn't approve of that very much.  :)
