We didn't have any volunteers from Europe or the UK to serve as the
dubbing site. It doesn't make any sense to try to make PAL and SECAM
copies in the US to send across the Atlantic Ocean.
Its kind of late, but if anyone in the common market wishes to offer
dubbing facilities, please write to Peter Manchester at:

pmanchester@ccmail.sunysb.edu

Peter is grand poobah of the dub master sites and Cindy Loiselle at:

loiselle@aai.com

is in charge of assigning everyone to specific dubbers. If no one
comes forward to volunteer in the next few days, those needing PAL
copies may have to try our mate Grahamn Dobkins in Australia.

Whatever you do, don't bother writing to me. It's out of my hands.
I can make *one* PAL master tape for a UK/Europe dubbing site from
my master tapes.

A short note of correction - I will not, after all, be making a
special PAL to PAL edit master, and the PAL dubbing copy is a
re-conversion, i.e. PAL-to-NTSC-to-PAL. It *STILL* looks much better
than 95% of the copies out there. I tried editing using copies of the
master tapes, and determined that there was too much risk of damaging
the PAL source tapes. Sorry, but maintaining the quality of the sources
is paramount. I would love, at some point in the future, to get access
to PAL editing equipment. Anybody over there need a Audio/Video/Computer
Graphics/3D-Animation guru? I know way too much about this stuff...
