From what I have seen, and from Andys memory of the 1985 Konvention, several of the songs were ruined by noise, probably by problems with the early wireless microphone technology. They have made great strides in repairing bad audio tracks via digital audio workstations. The Doors _Live At The Hollywood Bowl_ is one of the best examples. Morrison's mike had a wonky connecter (probably from being swung around by the cord) and produced a loud nasty crackling noise. The whole thing was digitized and the crackles were "painted" out and the surviving band members re-recorded some of the music. I can see a market in doing that for the Doors, but (no matter how much we may wish the situation were different) there is little commercial reason to do this for the _Hammersmith_ concert. It looks like the H-O plus the songs that we saw at the Konvention are all we are going to get.
