Although, I have not met him personally I saw what a great job he did at the last convention and that you all do at Homeground. Let's hope he is fully recovered soon. [Start polemic] Sadly, this is just another example of increasing violence in the UK. The streets are gradually being taken over by the kind of knife-carrying low-life Dave had the misfortune to encounter. Anyone trying to stop these scum seems to end up wounded or even dead. Unfortunately, the legal system seems unable or unwilling to deal with the offenders despite a government that claims to be the party of law and order. On recent form the thug, even if caught, is likely to receive a fine, a suspended sentence, or a safari trip to Africa (see UK press). It is little wonder Kate prefers to stay in seclusion.
