Ron, I apologise for not flagging my parody more conspicuously.  Remember
that I'm writing for a broad range of readers, some of whom wll be much 
more alert than others.

With regard to the content, though, I stand fully behind the version of
events I portray there.  Anyone who wishes to follow this up will do
well to begin with Chris's statements about my dealings with Paul, where
independent witnesses can be appealed to (Paul himself, or Tom Richards).

Most everything else is in the archives, or in saved email.  To access the
archives via ftp, you do this:

ftp ftp.uu.net
[login:] anonymous
[password:] jorn@ [substitute your e-name]
cd usenet/rec.music.gaffa/archives/1993
binary
mget Mail0*  [to start with January 1993, and grab the first ten at once]

The archives are stored as ~100k chunks, compressed from ~180k.  You
need to 'uudecode' them.  1993 is already up into the 'Mail50.Z' range as
of December 1.

If you want to investigate the email, write to me.  'Official' r.m.g
business like the tapetree is hardly protected by privacy, I shouldn't
think.
