If you would like this point driven into your brain with a 9" railroad
spike coated in pure ecstasy, go see the movie BARAKA.  It has no
dialog, no subtitles, no narration.  Nothing but images of humans
being human and gorgeous music, including Dead Can Dance (which I
guess just barely qualified this post for love-hounds).  This is the
most affecting movie I've seen in many years.  You'll cry from
witnessing the sheer beauty and horror of humanity.
