I did not nor do I encourage anyone to use more than their fair share
of time with Kate.  Most people at these things do not say "Kate,
please sign this is a quick as possible so you can get to the next
person.  Thanks, see ya."  Everyone who waits on line all day long
wants to spend a few seconds chatting with Kate.  All I suggested is
that instead of us all chatting about the same things for our
respective thirty seconds, some of us might want to try to arrange to
chat about different things.  Common sense says not to ask Kate for a
detailed analysis of War and Peace--only to ask something that can be
answered in a few sentences.
