There's a review of the album in the Datebook section of this
Sunday's San Francisco Chronicle (Dec. 5). Here it is:

"Superstar cameos by such heavyweights as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and
Prince don't make this any less Kate Bush's album, a highly personal
blend of heavily processed vocals, glistening production and raw,
frankly personal lyrics.
"In her first album in four years, Bush is alternately sensual ('Split
me open. . .eat the music')and philosophical, wrapping her singular
songs in dense, often leaden arrangements that sometimes seem to
substitute melody for irony." -- Joel Selvin
