How I got into Kate... <oops...>

Hi everyone,

...so I'm Marcel Rijs. Actually, this is my first real time on this
list - let's ignore my 'exclusive' from friday. It was a nice one
to start with, though...
Dunno if it's customary to introduce oneself on this list, but I
thought I'd bother you with my story, as I'm always interested in
your stories, being a 'lurker' most of the time. (...so how did
*you* all first get acquanted with KaTe's music?)

I vaguely remember hearing 'Wuthering heights' on television on a
Dutch TV-programme. Kate performed her hit at a show presented by
some famous 50+ male presenter, who gave her a rose - and while my
parents exclaimed "He even gives that witch a rose!", my sister &
me got fascinated by this enchanting talent.
I was 7 years then.
